Woodlands Lakes (Silver Birch Lake) - Venue Review

CARLTON MINIOTT
THIRSK
NORTH YORKSHIRE
YO7 4NJ

This is one of thirteen lakes present at the complex.
It is a lake of an unusual shape and as a result appears to be two separate lakes.
It used to be a species lake in the past and still homes some very large carp.
Bream and Rudd are in high numbers in the lake too.
The pegs are in need of some work and some are almost submerged in the water.
There are two central islands on the front part of the lake but as Ive mentioned its an unusual shape and to the back of the lake it also has very fishable pegs although that part of the peg is more shaded. The lake edges can become boggy in bad weather.
The pegs on the bridges are the best.
