Norwood Fisheries (Large Lake) - Venue Review

CINDER LANE
KILLAMARSH
SHEFFIELD
S21 2AT

This is nice little fishery based in Killamarsh on the boundary between South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
It has a cafe on site but unsure of opening times (may only open on match days).
There are two lakes on the site, a small lake that used to be a stock pond and the main large lake.
This main large lake has two islands and most pegs can reach the part of one of the islands with a feeder.
The banking is short grass and the surroundings peaceful.
There are 28 well made pegs around the lake.
All the usual species are present in the lake.
The only off-putting aspect is that it seems to attract young lads in their early twenties swearing and boozing etc

Well liked pegs include 28, 1, 13, 25 and 26

Quotes I've found on other sites include :

"Fish halibut pellet across to the island"

  1. Wonderful lakes, even the stock pond produces good nets of roach, skimmers, big carp and big ghosties. I fish this venue regularly and always enjoy myself. Staff are very helpful.Regards R.Turner
