Toms Pond (First Pond) - Venue Review

LS21 1DX

I prefer to fish the first lake you come to when visiting this venue.
It is only a small pond but does hold quite a lot of carp.
There are two islands present on this lake and the best pegs seem to be 7 to 12.
Carp and tench are present here along with the silver fish.
The fishery has a locked gate and opens no earlier than 7am
You can lend a keep net for a small price too

Well liked pegs are 1, 4, 12, 13

Quotes I've found on other sites include :

"The average depth is about three foot. There is an island towards the top end and then another smaller one down the side. These are good patrol routes for the bigger carp"

"Stocks include carp to 15lb, tench to 7lb 8oz, bream to 4lb, chub to 3lb, barbel to 2lb 8oz, Ide to 2lb, roach to 1lb and cruceans to 1lb"
