There are 4 ponds at this popular venue.
The one featured here is the Gorse Lake. This is commonly known as "Tench Lake".
It is a longish lake shaped like a river cut off. Narrow at one end and fairly wide at the other.
The pegs are not great and in need of work.
The lake gets busy too with quite a few younger anglers fishing.
There is a great lakeside cafe on the complex and parking is good.
There are no rules as such so just be sensible.
The Key to the gate is behind one of the signs next to the gate. Open up if you are there before 7am
The best pegs are 14 to 17 and 25 to 28 however the end pegs often do well
