This is a three lake venue. An 8 peg small speci' lake, a new match lake (opened in 2017) and a large course lake.
The Course lake (which I'm featuring here) doesn't have pegs so to speak and the banking is quite high (so high you struggle to get water for your groundbait). The banking is short grass and spacious so very comfortable.
The lake probably holds 30 anglers so is quite a large lake. the lake has no Islands but does have reeds and trees etc to fish to.
The whole venue has a nice peaceful atmosphere and you will struggle to find another lake that holds so many different species. There are seventeen different species in the lake and also hybrids. You never know what you are going to catch which is a great thing. The lake has started to get busier nowadays and seemingly popular with the so called "Bivvy Boys"

The rules online and stated on the boards at the venue appear to be old rules made by the previous owner. Method feeders are definately allowed nowadays and you can fish from 6am, not 8.

Popular pegs include the two either side of the tree on the left hand side as you walk through the gate

Quotes I've found on other sites include :

"There are 17 different species of fish in the lake including some big Barbel that are very hard fighting"
