This is a quiet fishery that doesn't seem to get too busy.
A cafe is present on site and they take orders on the bank and deliver to your peg.
There is a small selection of Middy tackle on sale at the venue too
The lake is really aimed at and shaped for pole fishing however I fish the method feeder close in.
The pegs are spacious and sturdy/secure and each peg comes with a landing net for use whilst you are there. (You will need a handle though).
The fishery is open dawn 'til dusk.
The lake is 2.5 acres and consists of 28 pegs.
The fish present are Carp, Tench, Ide, Bream, Chub, Barbel and Golden Orfe.
You can park behind most pegs on one length of the lake

Rules state no boilies and in-line method feeders only. Feed pellets if being used must be bought from the fishery

The best pegs are 10, 14, 16, 23 and 25

Quotes I've found on other sites include :,

"Plainville Lake is a top class established fishing lake, set in a quiet attractive tidy setting. Over 2.5 acres with 28 well spaced excellent decked pegs. The lake depth varies from 3.5ft to 6ft and is well stocked with Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Tench, Ide, Bream, Chub, Barbel and Golden Orfe. There are toilet facilities, refreshments and an on site bait shop"
