Woodhouse Grange (Kingfisher Lake) - Venue Review

BAWTRY ROAD
DONCASTER
DN7 6DU

This is quite a large fishery that contains six lakes.
Its not the most looked after place you will ever fish and in fact resembles a scrap yard in some areas of the site.
The lakes look well maintained though and are quite diverse in styles.
The lake featured on this page is Kingfisher Lake.
It is rectangle in shape and has three central islands to fish to.
The depth ranges from one foot to six feet.
Overhanging willows are present in a couple of areas of the lake.
The lake contains Carp, Roach, Rudd and Skimmers.
There is a cafe on site

Rules state only fishery feed pellets are permitted and if fishing method feeders they must be in-line

 The best pegs are 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 21, 29 and 32 although 10, 12, 19, 22 and 30 are not bad too

Quotes I've found on other sites include :

"Kingfisher can be a bit peggy"
