The On-Line market is responsible for many high street or in deed back street tackle shop closures.
In this current era it is so easy to search for bait and tackle on line, click a few times on the keyboard (or even your phone) and hey presto a couple of days later your goods have arrived, delivered to your door.
Like many others prefer seeing of the goods first before I buy, prefer the chat with fellow anglers, the info you can find out via staff and the general brousing of the tackle shop so I nearly always frequent a tackle shop rather than purchase on-line.
I do just about all my "shopping" at BobCo Tackle based on Torre Road, Leeds
It is a huge megastore on two levels and has everything an angler could ask for.
The staff are great and helpful and there is off-road parking.
They also do a loyalty card there where you accrue points when making purchases that can be used then to discount further purchases in the future.

The other Tackle shop I sometimes use is one local to me in Horsforth, Leeds called Supreme Angling Ltd.
This is a small more old fashioned style shop where you get a couple of old shop owners sat behind the counter talking fishing all day to whoever triggers the door bell when entering the shop.
Its a good shop and has most of what you need
