Mushroom Ponds consists of three lakes, although two of them are slightly joined.
The lake I fish is the one furthest away as you drive in.
It is an open place that can suffer from the elements.
The fish present are Carp, Bream, Chub, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench, Ide, Orfe and Barbel.
It is a secluded place with plenty of vegetation around the lakes.
The fishery opens dawn 'til dusk.
Rules state in-line method feeders only
The best peg is the far peg next to the Inlet
Quotes I've found on other sites include :
"Carp to 17 lb, bream, tench and perch to 4 lb, chub to
2 lb, ide, roach and rudd to 1 lb 8 oz plus golden and blue orfe. Barbel
approaching 1 lb are also in the Middle and Far Pools. For fine mixed catches fish a soft pellet over
smaller pellet feed. Leger meat, boilies or large pellets for the bigger carp. Baits like maggot, caster or chopped worm are best when it’s cooler; little and often loose feed is the way to go. Bread
punch is a very good winter bait. The east bank is noted for carp"
