6th May 2017 - Elm Tree Farm Fishery - (Horseshoe Lake)

Ahhhhhhh a match where I dont have to get up early and drive to Dads first.... This was due to the fact that todays match was to be held at a place 5 mins from my Girlfriends called Elm Tree Farm Fishery. We got to the venue and parked up, we chose two pegs near to the carpark. The lake is a horseshoe lake with plenty of vegetation around the edges.
The match started reasonably well for me on Peg 11 and after the first two hours Id netted half a dozen fish, all quite small. Dad was struggling and had only banked a couple of tiddlers. My Girlfriend then turned up with bacon sarnis and Ice Pops!! for us. Get Innnn. Cheers Kirsty...
The remaining 5 hours saw me catch frequently, F1's and crucians on the whole. Dad got another 9 including a decent Bream that got the point for biggest catch of the day.
My total of 32 lb 8 oz was enough to win the 3 points and my 16 fish beat Dads 11 for the other point so a 4-1 for me.
