21st March 2017 - Fourways Fishery - (Laneside Lake)

Match 3 of the new season and today was another new venue for us. Todays match was to be held at Fourways Fishery. This fishery has recently been bought and is in the process of some major redevelopment. We decided to fish the largest lake of the three on site. Laneside Lake. This lake holds all fish of around 6 lb and over. It is a large lake with one floating island in the centre, The pegs and banking are good however like yesterday the wind was just too much. Literally blowing a gale so we decided to only fish 4 hours. Dad on peg 23 blanked. Didnt even get a bite. I caught three fish from peg 22. Three Mirror carp of around 6 lb. So another 5-0 win for me like yesterday.
