10th July 2016 - Rising Sun Fisheries (Lake 1)

Today was an early morning session back at the scene of last weeks win. Rising Sun Fishery.
Lake 1 was to be the lake again for me. After all those Bream last week could I get into any Carp today or any other species other than Bream...
I arrived at the complex to find about 8 Bivvy boys already on... My choice of Pegs seriously limited so I chose peg 26 which had 3 empty pegs either side of me. Casting was to be tricky too due to over hanging trees. The 5 hours were productive but again mostly Bream. I caught 17 fish and 14 were Bream... Two nice little crucians and a tiny roach were also banked. The lake is one of those quite annoying waters. In just over 11 hours fished across two sessions I have caught 39 fish which is very good, however I cannot get away from the Bream and speaking to regulars on the complex they all say the same. Its supposed to be a carp water but nowadays its more of a Bream water. Dont get me wrong some Huge Carp are banked by the Carpers, its just that everyone else seems to bank 99% Bream. No fun really when you know what all your fish are going to be as soon as you get the bite. The venue is nice though and due to the large numbers of fish caught it will score highly I assume on my league table. Maybe next time (If i ever fish this lake again) I will try Boilies for an hour....
Todays weigh in was 17 fish for 28 lb 14 oz.
